What a weekend! The opening of Changing States at ( s o o n ) gallery during Antwerp Art was a beautiful success. The works came into their own in the brutalist apartment setting. Its raw architecture, striking light, and panoramic views provided the perfect backdrop. A steady stream of visitors dropped by, many of whom stayed long, asked thoughtful questions, and showed real engagement with the story behind the series. Her work is based on HER-stories, stories of interesting women who were successful in various ways, yet are forgotten by history.
