At the base of an oak tree, a small seedling found refuge. The oak stood proud and robust, offering steadfast shelter and tranquility. Through changing seasons, the seedling thrived beneath the oak’s expansive canopy. Birds chorused melodies of delight, while the wind imparted tales of wisdom through rustling leaves. The oak’s fortitude and benevolence fostered the seedling, a testament to enduring strength and affection.
This series of paintings is a tribute to my mother, who turns 80 next April.
