Fotofestival Naarden approaching

Three more days to go… this Saturday FotoFestival Naarden kicks off! Very very exciting, with so much to see and experience. My own series of course, but also the interesting work of so many other inspiring photographers.

The 16th edition of FotoFestival Naarden will take place from Saturday, May 25th to Sunday, June 30th, 2019 and is themed ‘Dutch Masters & Marvelous Misfits’. It tells the stories of people and their landscapes, the latter in the sense of sceneries and thoughts. It tells the tales of our best and worst moments, from self-loathing to self-love, from rebellion to naivety, and the marvelous in-between. Curators are photographer Koos Breukel and photo historian and author Hedy van Erp.

It is for the first time that during FotoFestival Naarden 2019 paintings will be shown. Within the theme ‘Dutch Masters & Marvelous Misfits’ unique 17th century paintings and drawings of Dutch Masters will be exhibited, just as a number of works by Van Gogh. These works can be seen amidst photos made by Koos Breukel, Stephan Vanfleteren, Robin de Puy and Ernst Coppejans in the Grote Kerk, Naarden.

Please check the programm for more information on all planned activities. Like the meet & greet with me on June 8th! Will we see each other?

You can buy your tickets online, so you don’t have to queue at the ticket office. The regular price is € 19.50 pp, with several reduced fares. Please check the tickets page for more information.

N.B.: there is a maximum for online tickets sold for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays due to the expected number of visitors.
